Optometry Law is going to be passed soon.
The bill of Optometry Act is on second reading.
The department has signed a cooperation agreement with Taipei Medical University.
Based on the contract with Taipei Medical University for academic exchange and cooperation, We develop a Resource Sharing in order to offer Students massive Competitive advantage in optometry sphere.
Qualified National Test Sites for “The Ophthalmic Lens Surfacing and Processing Certification”
We provide all possible assistance to our students in obtaining National certificates of specialization in “Level C technician for manufacturing glass lenses” and “Level C technician for Chain Store Service” before their graduation.
There are five teachers and forty-seven students from the department acquiring “Level B Certificates of International Etiquette for Receptionists.”
Congratulations to Dean Tai-Quan Ke, Vice Dean Jia-Yi Lin, Teacher Xi-Ping Chen, Teacher Jian-Hong Li, Teacher Jia-Wei Chen and 47 students on their getting Level B Certificates of International Etiquette for Receptionists.

“The Student Union of Optometry” not only host various campus events, seminars, conferences, banquets, and various other functions, but also leads students into careers as opticians, ophthalmic laboratory technicians, or ophthalmic technicians/ assistants.
To provide excellent facilities and high-quality educational training programs.
To enhance individual comprehension as the means of students’ achievements by projected pictures.
Abundant extracurricular activities and resources enrich our students’ school lives. For example, they won great prizes on “Optometry Cup, University Basketball Association” in recent years.
Our department students, who participated in a variety of contests, had prominent performances. The department always helps students live a healthy lifestyle and develop their potential.
We encourage our students to join “Jente Student Government Assoication” to acquire experience of organization, creativity and as well as the skill of problem-solving.
From helping the Campus Activities to reserving space and helping to facilitate these great events, the Student Union hosts some signature programs throughout the year.

本校在104年1月14日與臺北醫學大學簽署學術合作，兩校未來將就資源整合、教師遴聘及產學合作等，展開5年合作方案，也開啟城鄉學術合作新頁。

昨天上午在臺北醫學大學舉行的學術合作簽約儀式，仁德醫專由校長黃柏翔與顧問鍾佳穎代表，與北醫口腔醫學院院長歐耿良及口腔衛生學系主任陳立昇簽署合作協議書。

北醫在未來5年，將就資源整合、教師合聘、研究發展、產學合作計畫等面向，與仁德醫專復健科、視光學科、數位媒體應用科、牙體技術學科及口腔衛生學科籌備處等科系，充分合作與交流。

仁德校長黃柏翔與北醫院長歐耿良表示，期待藉由雙方攜手合作，發展兩校醫護特色的優勢，開創彼此新領域，強化學術與專業技能的競爭力。
此外，學術合作也提供兩校學生更多專業技能的操練，尤其未來仁德醫專的畢業生，可選擇北醫作為升學進路，並到北醫附設醫院、雙和及萬芳醫院實習，為學子未來職涯的進路做準備，達到「畢業即就業」的無縫接軌，共創學生、學校和產業三贏局面。
